Monarda menthaefolia--Beebalm requires ample water to maintain the lush look of the plant. It spreads by runners where moisture is present. Tall blooms emerge in the spring and last through the summer months. In shaded areas it can become leggy and should be cut back the ground level. The foliage is fragrant and will last a couple of days in a vase. |
