Nolina microcarpa--Beargrass are heat & drought tolerant. They grow well in wide range of soil types with good drainage. Plant this plant in full sun or partial shade The plant forms form a clump of evergreen leaves that have thin curled spines. In May through June it sends up an 8 ft tall, densely flowered stalk. The flowers are tiny & cream-pink. Native to dry, rocky slopes, Nolina microcarpa needs no Summer water once established. |
