Needle and Thread Grass is a drought tolerant, Clump forming grass. Clumps can be reach 2 ft in height and 1.5 ft. in diameter. Spreading grey-green leaves with upturned tips. Decorative pale green or brownish spikelets in summer producing 6 in. long seed that can burrow its way into the ground by hygroscopic acton. Needle and Thread Grass prefers well drained soils and full sunlight. |
